The Lagree Fitness Method™ is taught on an exclusive technology developed by fitness visionary, Sebastien Lagree. Fitness is more than being able to lift heavy weights at the gym; or how long you worked out or at what intensity. Physical fitness is made up of 5 basic elements: Cardio, Strength, Endurance, Body Composition and Flexibility. Lagree Fitness™ is extraordinary in that
it meets all of these elements; not only in 1 session, but in each and

Spring is just around the corner and it is a good time for runners to build their strength and improve race times. With different recommendations in every magazine and website, what is the best way to build strength? Many ultra-runners simply increase the number of miles they run per week in order to improve their running. But as a runner myself, I have realized that simply running more alone can lead to injury. I have found that Lagree Fitness™ is the ultimate strength workout for the ultra-runner as it has lowered my times in all distances from 400m to 50k.
There is a tremendous amount of misinformation about what defines posture, and what constitutes good posture. Many health and fitness professionals such as physical therapists, chiropractors, personal trainers, Pilates and yoga instructors spend a lot of time and effort, examining, treating and billing for what is felt to be negative health issues related to poor posture. Despite the tremendous effort to identify and treat what is felt to be poor posture and pain related to this issue, there is very little scientific evidence that there is any relationship between poor posture causing pathologic conditions of the spine.
Since its introduction into the fitness world by creator, Sebastien Lagree, the Lagree Fitness Method™, with its spring based trainer the Megaformer, has been a state of the art tool for body sculpting and improving dynamic fitness. Its utility is apparent in clients new to exercise as well as experienced athletes. Through several redesigns, the machine has evolved to devices (Megaformer M3S, Supraformer) that can be used to work any part of the body, especially the core musculature, in all planes.
Admit it, who doesn’t love a nice butt. There is, however, so much more to the glutes than a hot booty. Throughout history, humans have admired and adored the buttocks. This fascination even goes as far back to the people of Ancient Greece. The glutes are a collection of muscles that combine to extend, abduct and rotate the leg. In addition, they stabilize the trunk as a connection between the upper and lower torsos, and assist in maintaining an erect posture. They are composed of the Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius and Gluteus Minimus. It is hypothesized that during the evolution from apes to humans, the gluteal muscles were an integral part of this stabilization, by allowing a transition to an upright posture and facilitating the ability to run long distances.
Lagree Fitness™ uses a spring based resistance machine, similar to a Pilates reformer, that is called a Megaformer. The workout is becoming more popular with women of childbearing age, many of whom will become pregnant. Although similar to a reformer, there are key differences in both the equipment and the training philosophy that make this activity challenging for the pregnant participant and trainer. We present guidelines for the practice of Lagree Fitness™, during and after pregnancy, based on the current available literature and our experience with its use in parturients.
